The beach in Serock is one of the most interesting places in Mazovia, which is worth visiting, especially in the summer season. The pier, marina and sanitary facilities are part of the attractions and amenities. Add to this the location in the city center and the regular holiday cruises of the tourist ship from Warsaw to Serock (resumed after a year – log break
due to the pandemic) and we will get a summer hit on all-day trips.
Sandy beach with facilities
The beach in Serock is located near the market square (where motorists will find parking spacers) and connected by the Nadnarwiański Boulevard stretching along the Narew River – an ideal place for solo walks, with children or a dog.
Swimming in Narew at the beach level is possible from the end of June to the end of August. The safety of the bathing beach is ensured by lifeguards on duty between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.
There is a building with toilets and changing rooms right at the entrance to the beach, and there are also several dining options in the vicinity. And on the beach you will also find a kiosk with sandwiches, waffles and ice cream. The beach in Serock is sandy – it is an ideal place for the youngest who like playing with water and molds, and for children of all ages who love building sand castles. During breaks in digging and construction, you can use the water playground with a safe, non – slip surface and an educational trail. In the summer season, enthusiasts of active leisure can play volleyball and basketball on specially prepared pitches. There are also chess tables, tennis and ping – pong tables and an outdoor gym. In the water equipment rental you can rent bicycles and humpback boats, i.e motor boats. Those who prefer sunbathing or reading can rent a deckchair.
Cruises in Narew, Zegrze and from Warsaw
Near the beach there is a pier from which the Albatros cruises on the Narew and Zegrzyński Lake departs. This year, they are organized from June 5 to September 5, on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 11, 12 and 13. Ticket prices: PLN 20 (regular),
PLN 15 (reduced). PLN 10 (seniors). Tickets are sold directly by the cruise.
After a one-year break caused by the pandemic, the cruise ship routes from Warsaw and Serock have also returned. From July 3 to September 26, on Saturdays and Sundays, the Zefir ship sails at 9.00 from the harbor in Żerań and through the canal and through Zalew Zegrzyński reaches Serock. It is moored there for two hours, that passengers can spend on sunbathing or sightseeing, and return to Warsaw and arrive at the shore at approx. 18.00.

Tickets can be purchased on the website www.bilety24.pl and at the Passenger Service Point at the Dworzec Wileński metro station on Fridays from 15-18 and on Saturdays from 8-11. Access to the marina in Żerań: by bus lines 126, 705, 735 and 736 to the Cementowania stop (on request) or by SKM trains of the S3 and Koleje Mazowieckie lines R9 to the Warszawa Żerań stop (about 300 meters from the marina).
