WATER ATTRACTIONS

BIELAWSKIE LAKES. WAWA WAKEand FISHERIES

Two Lakes Bielawskie are located in Bielawa near Konstancin – Jeziorna, surrounded by fields and meadows. People planning the beginning of their adventure with wakeboarding are most likely to choose the upper ones. Dolne is one of the best risheries in Mazovia. The relatively short distance from Warsaw makes the lakes a popular destination for weekend trips for the residents of the capital and its vicinity.

Bathing area for active people

The biggest magnet attracting holiday makers to the upper Bielawskie Lake are two wakeboard lifts with obstacles of varying difficulty. Wakeboard sessions – for both beginners and more advanced wake enthusiasts – are conducted under the supervision of experienced staff. Due to the high interest, it is recommended to book the lifts in advance on the resort’s website. If someone is drawn to a new hobby, he can start completing his own equipment. It is supported by regular markets, where you can buy boards, foams and other accessories.

There is also an equipment rental on the upper Bielawskie Lake, you can also swim without equipment in the designated bathing area, chill on the beach on deckchairs or hammocks or actively relax on the beach volleyball court. For younger guests, there is a water playground with inflatable toys, a slide and a sandbox.

You can quench your hunger and thirst in a gastrobar serving grilled dishes, pizza, sweets and drinks. The gastronomic zone is connected to the terrace with colorful umbrellas and swings. Sanitary facilities and wifi are available in the zone. The place is pet friendly.

Almost a paradis for anglers

The lower lake is an oasis for fishing enthusiasts, which have access to two fisheries; carp and recreational, both of the „no kill” type (catch and release). Here you can catch large carp, crucian carp, bream, tenh, pike and zander. There are several dozen stands at the fishery, with the possibility of direct access to them by car.

The fishery is open every day from sunrise to sunset; from Friday to Sunday night fishing is also possible (advance booking required: tel. 603 932 204). A single entry costs PLN 30.

From southern Warsaw, you can get to the Bielawski Lakes by car or bike (Powsińska Street) – the distance from the Kabaty metro station is less than 8 km. You can get to the lake from Gassy, Opacz and Konstancin – Jeziorna by the L14 line (the public transport stop is located near the upper lake).

A cultural and sports park next door

Rest by the lakes can be combined with a visit to the Culture Park in Powsin. It is an offer for lovers of outdoor sports and walks. There are, among others, an outdoor swimming pool, a playground with mini golf, volleyball and beach volleyball courts, a sports pavilion with an outdoor gym and tennis courts, as well as a rope park. An additional advantage of the park is the possibility of

using accommodation places.

Tourist routes run through the area of the Park of Culture: the red one leads through the recreation and sports areas of the park, and the green one leads to the Botanical Garden of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
